Wakeman Police Officer of the Year
The Officer of the Year Award is given to the Officer who has gone above and beyond the call of specific acts of valor and has displayed a consistent and significant service to the Community of Wakeman.
The Officer receiving this award is generally one who has a genuine commitment to his profession, this agency, and the public they serve.
Police Officers face many challenges including crimes such as the constant drug problem, crimes of violence, the internet crime world, and acts of terrorism. Even with today’s advanced crime solving techniques, the key to outstanding police work still involves old fashioned determination and tenacity.
The Officer of the Year is the Officer who has consistently tried to make a difference with a positive attitude and has shown his/her ability to make an effort to eliminate crime.
This Officer has made a difference and deserves the Officer of the Year Award!!
